Business Development Manager – IT Managed Services
mcrIT, is currently looking for an experienced BDM to join our team of Sales professionals, to develop and grow new Managed Services business.
As the successful candidate, your primary responsibility as the BDM will be new business growth in Managed Services. In this role you will deal in some of the largest companies as well as SME in NSW and Victoria and ACT and you will be responsible for growing a new Managed Services client base and developing high level customer relationships, and delivering complex product and service solutions.
This position reports to the Sales Manager, with a remuneration scheme where personal results are rewarded
Selection Criteria:
- 2+ years Sales / Business Development experience in IT infrastructure sales would be highly regarded.
- Demonstrated ability to present effectively and to engage with corporate clients as well as SME clients.
- Strong skills in negotiation, organisation, and teamwork.
- Strategic thinking with a get-up-and-go attitude (very self motivated).
- A successful track record of achieving sales revenue targets.
- Excellent communication, client facing and consulting skills.
- Professional appearance and presentation.
Senior Systems Engineer (Managed Services & Pre-Sales)
This is a hands-on client-facing role within the mcrIT Client Services team, with the goal to consult with current and prospective clients, develop solutions and capabilities within mcrIT’s professional and managed services team. As a senior engineer, the role includes mentoring of junior staff to ensure solution integrity and best practices are maintained.
This position is accountable for the overall architecture/design and successful deployment of systems that provide industry best practice implementations and other associated services required to support the mcrIT Managed Client customer base. You will become the trusted advisor to a number of client accounts.
The successful candidate will be required to act as a technology specialist in a pre-sales function and be responsible for the comprehensive scope and detailed technical design and costs associated with such project deliverables. As such, the position requires an excellent knowledge of applications and of server platform technologies, etc with the ability to accurately generate solution based and handover documentation.
